Brasserie ‘De Poort’, dates back to 1870, and is specialized in Dutch Cuisine as well as international cuisine. However the restaurant is perhaps best known for their world famous ‘numbered steaks’, with ‘certificate’ as keepsake.

A drink in the Bar-Bodega ‘De Blauwe Parade’ is an absolute ‘must’! This is where the Heineken Brewery first began. The original, oak panelled seating alcoves, as well as the magnificent Delft Blue ‘tiled’ frieze are all intact and feel so authentic, that you might think that you have taken a step back in time! So sit back and enjoy a little ‘Dutch Gin’ tasting, whilst the bartender tells you more about the hotel’s fascinating history! It is a museum in itself!
